Quality Assurance Committee

Introduction

In order to ensure the implementation of standards of quality assurance, follow-up, review, evaluation and development, quality assurance committee was established in 2015 within Azhar Higher Education Institute (AHEI), and the 11 standards were defined within the strategic plan of the AHEI under the goal "access to local and international competitiveness of quality and classification" as follows:

  1. 1. Spreading the culture of quality and excellence in different faculties and departments of the AHEI and all employees.
  2. 2. Obtaining the local and international quality assurance certificate for the AHEI and its various academic programs and the sustainability of the certificates' effectiveness and development.
  3. 3. Classification of the AHEI locally and internationally in various classifications and continuous improvement of the order.

To create a culture of quality and excellence in all of the AHEI’s functions and operations.

Mission:

Build an effective quality management system through quality assurance of inputs, process integrity, evaluation and review of performance results, continuous improvement according to feedback and optimal utilization of available resources.

Operational objectives:

  2. 2. Ensure the quality of all processes and procedures of the AHEI through follow-up and scrutiny.

​Tasks of quality management system
  1. 1. Coordinating with the various faculties and academic departments at the AHEI and with departments and administrative departments regarding the preparation and amendment of work procedures for all the activities of the AHEI.
  2. 2. Holding training courses to spread the culture of quality between all levels and academic and administrative levels.
  3. 3. Periodic review of the achievements of academic departments to work on achieving quality goals.
  4. 4. Continuous improvement of the quality system at the AHEI to keep abreast of the changes.

Where the AHEI through the Office of Quality Assurance to follow up the commitment of academic faculties and administrative departments quality management system excellence, and the Office of the work plan ahead of the inspection tours to all academic and administrative departments and monitoring shortcomings, if any, and follow-up correction within a clear work plan is subject to follow-up periodically, In addition, a comprehensive report of these inspection tours will be submitted to the senior management of the AHEI, represented by the Board of Trustees, the AHEI Chancellor and Provost.
